That’s right: you don’t need to physically hold on to the product. If you have products you want to sell on Amazon, you send them to a fulfillment center that will hold on to the product. If you get them from a supplier, you can have it arranged to have it stored in an Amazon fulfillment center as well.
When selling products on Amazon from your store, you earn a percentage of the sales. Amazon of course takes a percentage of the total sales. But you can still be able to make a good profit from the products that you sell.

The following is a detailed review of Kevin David’s Amazon FBA Ninja online course. This contains well over 10 hours of video lessons that are jam-packed with information on how you can succeed on Amazon FBA. This review will give you a good idea of what to expect throughout the course.
While the course may be as detailed as it gets when it comes to Amazon FBA, it’s up to you to determine whether or not if this course is right for you. We’ll cover every module of this course and what you’ll learn from each of them. Now, let’s break down this course and discuss each module.
Module 1: Licensing and product selection
The first module will cover licensing and initial product selection. Right off the bat, Kevin suggests that you register as an LLC. Keep in mind that you can register as an LLC in your state or other states that you don’t reside in (feel free to do research on that when you have the opportunity).
In fact, Kevin does not want you to spend a ridiculous amount of money on an LLC. The less money you spend on one, the better. This is a good idea if you want to maximize your total earning potential while keeping expenses minimal.

Yes, FOB is the most expensive option of the two. However, this will save you money and a lot of frustration in the long-run. If you choose EXW, the responsibility for any damage is laid upon you.
In the last part of this module, Kevin stresses that your products need to be inspected before they are even shipped to the fulfillment center and sold to the market. Yes, inspection for quality and other issues is necessary. The last thing you want is an angry customer who has a product that literally fell apart on them en route to their house or the day of receiving it.

Module 5: Reviews
This module is another short one just running at around 20 minutes. But it will be worth watching since it covers one of the most vital aspects of selling your Amazon products online. What we’re talking about are reviews.
You’ll learn how to use email follow-ups and Facebook review groups as a way to get better reviews for your products. The better your reviews, the more social proof you have. Plus, it will give new buyers a good idea of what to expect when buying your product.
Of course, you’re going to run into negative product reviews at some point. So the email follow-ups and FB interactions can come in handy as to why the product did not work to the customer’s satisfaction. If you’re going to achieve success in eCommerce, it’s better to deal with the downsides of negative reviews rather than ignore them.
However, there are some negative reviews that are worth ignoring anyway. Some will just leave one-star reviews as a way to troll you (or they probably hate everything). But nevertheless, this is a pretty valuable module despite being a short one.
Module 6: Using AMS and PPC
In Module Six, we circle back to AMS and the use of PPC ads for your products. This is where Kevin will dive deeper into AMS and will show you how to use it to your advantage. Here, you’ll learn about the three different types of promotions that you can use to leverage your chances of increasing your sales and your overall product ranking.
You’ll also learn how to master the art of Pay-Per-Click (PPC) ads so you can be able to generate traffic from search engines directly to your product page. Let’s face it: a lot of people always rely on search engines when they look for a specific product. And PPC ads can really hit the home runs for you if you write great copy and have it targeted to where the right people get to see it.
You’ll learn of three different PPC campaigns that you can work with: broad match, phrase match, and exact match. These types are pretty self-explanatory. Now that we’ve covered all of the modules in detail, we’ll get down to the fun part. We’ll discuss the good things about the course first along with the not so good things (and suggest some improvements). Here are some things that we’re happy about:
Very detailed explanations throughout the course
What sets Kevin’s course apart from the others is how he’s able to explain things in deeper detail and it can be easy to understand. The walkthroughs are thorough and he wants to make sure that you don’t miss a single step. He even makes what appears to be the most complex task of running an Amazon FBA business very easy to do.
Even though some of the modules are lengthy, Kevin does his best to cover all the bases on the topics discussed. Be sure to take plenty of notes during each module. Of course, you’ll be able to go back and rewatch a module if you have to.
One of the best things about this course is that you get lifetime access after purchasing it. This means that if the course is updated, you’ll get them. Plus, you can be able to go back and rewatch the modules as many times as you like.
The strategies are legit
Of course, the strategies laid out in front of you are legit. They are the steps that Kevin himself had to take in order to achieve his success with Amazon FBA. Now, he’s sharing it with you, his students. Not to mention, the strategies that worked for him when he started out a few years ago are still the same and have the ability to help you attain the results you want.
It has an affiliate program
If you are someone who has built an email list for your blog, you might take advantage of the affiliate program that Kevin has for the course. Obviously, you’ll need to be a student in order to be eligible. But you can get a nice slice of the sales pie when your subscribers sign up to become a student themselves.
It pays to give a lot of value to a course that you might have enjoyed taking. Plus, it’s another great way to earn some extra money along with what you’re earning from your other streams of income. If there is one way to leverage your email list, it’s affiliate marketing.
What we didn’t like
Next, we’ll talk about the stuff that we weren’t happy about. We’ll also make some suggestions on improvements as we go. Let’s get to it:
The price is quite high
Look, we get it. It’s a price that he believes is fair for all this value he’s looking to give to those who want success on Amazon. Even though the original price is $3997, he slashes the price down to nearly $2000. That’s still quite steep.
But if you are willing to put in the work and serious about success, then clearly this could be the best investment for you. Then again, the higher you pay for a course then surely a lot of the students will take their success very seriously.
The good news however is that payment plans are available for those who don’t pay the price in one go. So if you are strapped for cash and can afford the down payments, go for it. Just remember, this is a big investment you are putting on yourself.
The introductory module is quite long
The first module clocks in at well over three hours. Which is understandable since it covers a good number of basic stuff. So if you are starting out with this course, you might want to clear the rest of the day if you need to.
However, from there the modules are roughly an hour-long at max (with the exception of modules 2, 4, 5, and 8). The hour-long modules are good enough. But the introductory module could be broken up into separate modules if possible.
The constant spam
Let’s turn our attention for a moment to the Facebook group that ties into this course. It’s been said that some of the students were not happy with how it was littered with spam. More specifically, it’s just people who have taken some of Kevin’s other courses and are using the affiliate program to snag some sales
Not only is spamming not the right thing to do when it comes to affiliate marketing, but it also damages the integrity of the group as a whole. If there is one improvement that should be done, it should be Kevin himself promoting his other courses if he feels the need to do so. Affiliates should limit their offerings of Kevin’s other courses using their email list or blog.
Confusion about the refund policy
Yes, refund policies are essential when it comes to online courses (or any other business). However, there have been constant misunderstandings of the policy. Kevin outlines that if you have finished 50% of the course or more, you cannot be refunded. This could be due to people taking advantage of refund policies even after taking the course itself.
No one wants to be taken advantage of. But the refund policy should be at least improved so there is no one exploiting it. A 60-day money-back guarantee would be sufficient as opposed to a 50% completion of the course. As to whether that could change to that is anyone’s guess.
The Pros and Cons of Amazon FBA
Let’s shift gears and talk about Amazon FBA for a moment. You’re reading this because you have some kind of interest and want to take a course. But what are the pros and cons of the Amazon FBA itself?
The following is a section of what to expect as you are starting out with Amazon FBA itself. This will likely determine if Amazon FBA is right for you (and therefore can determine if purchasing a course like Kevin’s is worth it). Let’s get to the pros first:
- Shipping costs are cheap: If you’re worried about shipping costs eating away at your profit margins, no need to worry. As long as the products are not heavy in bulk or super large, then you should be out of the woods. As such, make sure your products are lightweight and easy to ship.
- Sell faster with Prime: As an FBA member, your items will be eligible for Amazon Prime. This means you have a better chance of selling your products (especially with two-day shipping, which is pretty fast). Selling products with Prime available will give you a better advantage over your competition.
- Better leverage for Buyer’s Box: If you are an FBA member, you will get better leverage and priority for the buyer’s box. Like Prime, it sets you up for the likelihood of your product getting sold before your competitors. It’s just another advantage that you have over those who sell their products but are not FBA members.
- Fulfillment on multiple channels: Believe it or not, you can sell your items on multiple channels other than Amazon. It can be social media, your blog, wherever. All roads will basically lead to the product page where the customer will buy it right away if you provide enough value.
- Hard to track inventory: Let’s face it: we wish there was an easy way to track inventory. Especially when you have hundreds or thousands of the same product. However, keep in mind that not every product that you have in fulfillment will be sold.
On top of that, you also get charged fees for retained inventory. The good news is there might be some programs that will make tracking inventory less difficult. Alternatively, you should consider reducing the overall inventory (and order fewer items when the next opportunity to do so arises).
- Returns happen: Like every eCommerce store, returns will happen. That will obviously result in refunds. That’s the nature of the business, unfortunately.
That’s because Amazon has an easy returns policy. If returning something a customer ordered on the site is easy enough, it’s anyone’s guess how many will “take advantage” of it. Brace yourself for the possibility of returns.
- It costs money: Of course, Amazon FBA comes with a fee. It will depend on how much inventory you are carrying. Think of it like paying rent and the items you sell are tenets of that space.
That’s why it’s important to consider what you need to order for products when interacting with your supplier on a regular basis. The less inventory you have on hold, the lesser fees you will pay.
- Competitors may be selling the same product: Oversaturation is an issue on Amazon FBA. You have people selling the same product because “that’s where the money is”. If there is one thing to do to avoid this herd mentality, then sell a product that can be profitable, but not everyone seems to be dead set on selling.
Is Amazon FBA Ninja worth it?
If you are serious about starting an Amazon FBA business, then it might be worth considering the idea of taking a course. Kevin David’s Amazon FBA Ninja course might be worth the investment despite its high price tag. If you can afford it, it never hurts to take the course.
The higher priced the course, the more likely you’re serious about meeting your financial goals using Amazon FBA. Sure, it’s much higher in price compared to other FBA courses, but it just might be an indicator that it holds a lot of high-quality value.
Besides, if you get this course for free, would you be serious about fulfilling your FBA goals? Probably not. So think about how much money you are willing to put in if you want to learn about FBA without fielding through Google results for hours on end.
The Amazon FBA Ninja course has been around for a few years. While it might need to be updated in some areas, the tactics and strategies that Kevin David shows you are the real deal. Plus, they work now in 2020 then they did in the previous years.
The good news is that Kevin David is the real deal. He’s got quite a following on YouTube and various social media channels. So it proves that he is an authority figure in entrepreneurship circles. Of course, you’re going to hear about the people who say he’s a scam.
If you think that someone is this successful is a scammer, then that may be on you (unless there is unequivocal proof stating otherwise). But Kevin David is someone that you should listen to if you are looking to dip your toes into the eCommerce waters. He’s got plenty of courses that focus on different topics.
Are his courses expensive? Yes. But there is plenty of value that’s worth every single penny.
Thankfully, he has financing options available so you can make regular installments. This should at least give you the idea of being serious with your investment, whether you pay for the course in full or in installments. Consider the value of his courses when looking at the price.
In the final analysis, it’s your choice as to whether you want to purchase this course or not. The same can be said about Amazon FBA. Either it’s right for you or it’s not.
If you are looking at Amazon FBA as a “get rich quick” opportunity, you’ll be sadly mistaken. Because you won’t be able to sell out your products all in one day. Making money with Amazon FBA will take time and a lot of work.
