Have you ever wished that you could create a successful online business without needing to package everything yourself? Amazon aims to make that dream a realty with the FBA business model. Fulfillment by Amazon businesses function like traditional e-commerce models, but Amazon stores and ships your products for you.
It’s not easy to get into the business, though. To make a successful living, you still need to work hard and drive internet traffic. It can be overwhelming to figure out where to start, especially if you don’t have a marketing degree or prior experience with online businesses.
I’ve made a living online since 2001, and I haven’t seen any opportunity come along that has helped people with ZERO EXPERIENCE start earning seven figures annually like the Amazon marketplace has done. It’s literally the easiest way to get into the Digital nomad lifestyle, and with almost no barriers to entry, anyone can do it. But where do you start?
That’s where the Amazing Selling Machine comes in. This online course teaches you everything about starting and maintaining an FBA business. It also comes with multiple tools to drive sales, plus a lifetime membership to the robust community forums and mentorship program.
Each module in the course lasts for a week, for a total of eight weeks. You are meant to slowly digest the information rather than inhaling it all at once.
But is this solution actually worth the hype? Does it pay well enough for you to get back your investment in the materials?
I’ve taken a look at what this program has to offer so that you can make an informed decision about whether it’s the right one for you. I came in with very little Amazon FBA experience in 2015, and stumbled into this course a few years later. Let me now tell you why it’s among the best digital marketing programs you can invest in if you are interesting in selling on Amazon.
What the Amazing Selling Machine Is
The Amazing Selling Machine is, first and foremost, an educational course. But that isn’t all it is. In addition to the educational tools, the course also comes with important tools that you’ll use when tracking traffic and doing keyword research.
Everyone who invests in the course is given access to the online community. This includes robust and active forums with tons of members, plus the mentorship program. Mentors are more experienced individuals who have volunteered to walk newbies through the course and offer insight where they can.
The training program teaches you how to use Amazon to build your business. Amazon’s FBA program takes the hassle out of packaging and shipping inventory. Since everything is stored, picked, packaged, and shipped from the Amazon warehouse, your day is completely free to work on marketing and building your business.
You can create a fast-growing and profitable business without ever actually leaving your living room.
But the program isn’t cheap. It’s also made for beginners. If you have a marketing background, you might find that the program treads too much water that you’ve already covered. You also shouldn’t invest if you aren’t serious about your business, because you’ll need to be serious to get a good return-on-investment.
There is work involved in building and growing a business. This course won’t help circumvent that. You’ll still need to do all of the work. But the course walks you through exactly how to do every single step of the process. All you have to do is follow along.
Since you don’t have to intuit anything, this course is a way of making the Amazon marketplace accessible to anyone – even people with no prior business experience. And on top of the initial knowledge, you get a lifetime of support from the forums. Plus the tutorials are constantly updated with new information as the marketplace changes.
The course is made up of eight modules (not counting the Module 0 introduction). It teaches you how to select a product, choose a supplier, get approved by Amazon, create your online presence, launch your product, and run your business efficiently post-launch.
How the Amazon Selling Machine Course Is Set Up
The course is taught through video seminars by two men who have prior experience working with Amazon. It immediately gets into the important information, and not much technical lingo is used. When there are technical terms, they’re explained, so you can keep up even if you’re a beginner.
Each of the segments focuses on a different aspect on building a successful Amazon business. You’ll learn about selecting the right products to avoid competition, connecting with suppliers, ordering samples, increasing traffic, and growing the brand by adding more product lines as you expand.
The course is meant to be taken over a period of eight weeks. It includes 19 total hours of material.
Mike McClary and Rich Henderson are the creators and presenters of the course. They talk a lot about their respective paths to success on Amazon.
Rich was the original creator of the ASM course. He has been involved in online marketing for more than thirteen years, and his background is in affiliate marketing and SEO.
Mike became a successful student when taking the first ASM course. Since then, he’s helped to grow and develop newer versions of the course to keep up with the market’s ever-changing needs.
The Principle Behind the Course
There’s one vitally important principle when you’re creating an FBA business model to sell with Amazon. If you want to have a profitable business, the product you’re selling needs to be cheap to manufacture but high in demand.
It’s not enough to simply buy cheap items. How are you going to sell them? Who is going to buy them? These are vital questions that you need to answer when you’re setting up your business model. Even though your product may be cheap to manufacture, it needs to be valuable to the consumer.
The more valuable to the consumer, the higher the price. The higher the price, the higher the profit.
ASM is a course that explains how to find the right niche for your market. The course will take you through the process of selecting your niche, selecting your product, and selecting your supplier. Then it takes you through the process of branding and launching your business.
As soon as you’ve become satisfied with a product and manufacturer, you can order mass quantities of the product and store them in the Amazon warehouse.
Before you make manufacturing deals and order in bulk, you need to be an expert in your niche. You need to know exactly who your target audience is, why they want the product, and how much you’re making on each sale. You need to make sure you’re storing enough to keep up with demand, but not so much that you’re wasting money on warehouse space.
Many sellers do test runs of their products before ordering massive quantities in bulk. This is because bulk quantities can cost thousands upon thousands of dollars, and if they don’t sell, that’s a huge chunk of change to lose.
ASM walks you through this entire process. If you have no prior experience with researching niches and products, you don’t have to worry. The step-by-step guides are perfect for beginners, including beginners who haven’t ever sold on Amazon before.
When your product is ordered, it’s shipped to the Amazon warehouse to be distributed and sold. As soon as your product is in the warehouse, Amazon will package and ship your orders for you. That takes a huge amount of work out of the process, allowing you to focus fully on the marketing aspect of things.
It might sound too good to be true. And that’s because in some ways, it is.
Like any other marketplace, the Amazon marketplace is full of heated competition. But unlike other marketplaces, sellers have to play a game with the search engine and keywords to stay relevant. The course includes keywording tools that allow you to do extremely fast research on which keywords you need for a listing.
Even though you don’t have to do the physical packaging and shipping yourself, FBA businesses are a lot of work. You have to handle the marketing aspect of things, making sure that your listings and landing pages are driving traffic. You also have to handle your website, social media presence, email lists, and any advertising campaigns you launch.
The User Experience
I tried ASM to see what the fuss was all about. I found that the course was not only informative, it was also packed with features and tools that made marketing a thousand times easier. The dashboard is easy to navigate, and even if you have trouble intuiting how to use it, the Module 0 guide takes you through every part of it.
With about nineteen total hours of video, you might be tempted to do the entire course in two or three days. It is technically possible to take in all of the information in this time frame. But the course is meant to span eight weeks for a reason.
With every week of the course, you go through a new step in setting up your business. Each of the steps takes about a week to get in order. By slowing down and doing one module per week, you’ll build your business and brand from the ground up. At the end of those eight weeks, you’ll have a business that’s launched and a plan to keep moving forward.
One module a week is also good because it allows you to take things in on a slower basis. You get a chance to really absorb them, which is essential if you’re a beginner. The pacing is such that you get a ton of information in each module, but it’s easy enough to follow that you never feel lost.
It’s the first course I’ve seen that can successfully take a beginner from idea to executed business. You don’t have to learn any complicated marketing jargon or pull any ninety-hour work weeks. But at the end of those eight weeks, you’re up and running.
Another thing I appreciated was the end-of-module coaching call. Every week, you can partake in a live coaching call in which Mike and Rich ask whether anyone has any questions. This is a good way to recap the module, find out what other people are asking, reinforce concepts, and pick up anything that you might have missed during the lessons.
I was also very impressed by the forum. It’s extremely active and has thousands of members, many of whom post at least once a week. Some of the members have been around for years and run multiple successful businesses, while others are just getting started. The forums are full of information and connections to be made, and you get a lifetime membership with the course purchase.
On that note, the mentorship program is also excellent. ASM mentors are members who have successfully completed the course and built a thriving business. Since then, they have been recruited by the ASM team to help teach newbies. If you have any questions about the course, or you need any guidance, an ASM mentor is always available.
Overall, this is a fantastic course for anyone who wants to get started on Amazon. Regardless of your educational background or previous business experience, the course will help you get your business up and running. The one thing I will say is that the course lacks a lot of advanced tools for people who are already familiar with the Amazon marketplace.
The Price Tag Is a Little Intense
Many people balk at the price tag for the course. Most people in the US don’t have a few thousand dollars lying around that they can invest on a whim. If you’re living paycheck-to-paycheck, you can probably learn the basics of FBA selling from a more affordable training course.
But the reason for the price is this: The course works.
It helps you launch a successful business and drive sales so that you make up the investment in the course in no time. That’s why there are so many thousands of people who have already done the course, and why there are thousands of active people on the forums. On Facebook, about 150,000 people follow the course’s page.
This isn’t an investment for the faint of heart. It’s not for people who are just playing around with the idea of owning a small business. But if you’re serious, if you really want to create an FBA business that will turn a profit and allow you to work from home, this is the best place to start. It’s even worth saving up for.
The creators of ASM are so confident that you’ll see results that they do better than a money-back guarantee. If you go through the course, complete all the steps, and don’t have a successful business, they will give you your money back. And they’ll reimburse the cost of your unsold inventory, giving you up to $7,500 dollars.
Stories of Success
The forums and member community are two of the best parts of this investment. So is the mentorship program. But the reason all of those things exist is because of how many people have successfully used the course. Thousands of success stories abound.
More than 27,000 program members are enrolled across more than 120 countries. That alone tells you that there’s a lot of faith that this course works. You’ll find hundreds of stories and testimonials from individuals whose lives have been changed through using this program to launch a business.
Anica Kath is a hotel director who had to choose between her family and career after she had two children. She decided to leave the hotel business to stay with her family. While searching for ways to make money from home, she found ASM. Using the techniques in the course, she started a home business and now has a career and family.
She makes her own hours with her business and has a larger income than she thought was possible. And she can stay at home with her kids all day regardless.
Denys Thomson was a police officer until the 90-hour weeks finally burned him out. He knew some acquaintances and friends who had already taken the ASM course. When he took ASM’s training, he quit his job and focused on his Amazon store.
Now Denys doesn’t have to deal with the daily grind anymore. Like Anica, he makes his own hours and profits from his business from the comfort of his own home.
These are just two stories. There are hundreds more.
New Things in Version 12
Amazing Selling Machine was first founded in 2012. But the Amazon marketplace can change on a weekly basis, and so the course is also being constantly updated. Version 12 comes with several improvements over the previous iterations of the course.
The creators of the course continuously update the training materials with new information about the marketplace. They may also make corrections to information that is now outdated. You can also find information about important new changes on the forums, where people report any updates quickly.
The Success Promise
The success promise is new to this version of ASM. It includes the aforementioned money-back guarantee and reimbursement of unsold inventory. You can get up to $7,500 reimbursed.
In addition, you’ll be shown how to create an “authority” site. This is a website that establishes you as an authority in your field, so people trust that they can buy your products. The website generates passive income through ad revenue, which can help you pay for your lifestyle or business upgrades. Or you can sell the site later.
A New Suite of Tools
In its first iterations, ASM was just a course. Then came the forums, and then came the mentorship program, and now comes the automation suite. This suite of tools helps you automatically research keywords, track traffic, check your conversion rates, and send emails.
The specific programs included in the suite:
- Inventory tracking and inventory alerts
- Keyword tracking
- Email automation
- Detailed conversion stats and traffic information
The inventory tracking is essential because it helps make sure that your products don’t run out of stock. The alerts let you know when you need to purchase more inventory, so you’re not constantly scrambling to keep up. This also means you don’t have to check your inventory manually every day, which can eat up a lot of time.
The keyword tracking tool helps you see where you rank in comparison to your competition. It also allows you to do faster research to find keywords that work for your products. You’re looking for keywords that many consumers search, but that not many sellers are already using.
The email automation software is vital for email lists. Email marketing is a huge part of online business, and manually sending emails to your list can eat up hours of your time. With the automation software, you can send custom emails to every Amazon customer, which helps you provide better customer service and increase your product reviews.
The conversion and traffic stats let you know how many hits your pages are getting and how many sales you’re getting for those hits. In addition, there’s full profit tracking for your whole business, so you can see how much money you’ve made at a glance.
The included tools are all integrated into the dashboard and very easy to access. You can track every aspect of your business from the same place that you view the course videos, which makes it much easier to organize and take care of daily maintenance tasks.
You also get 90 days of free access to the best keyword tool on the market. It lets you quickly isolate important keywords so that you have an immediate edge over your competition.
I’ve already talked quite a bit about the mentorship program. Mentors are individuals who have already been successful in their own businesses, and who have since been recruited by ASM to help newbies. There’s always a mentor available to answer questions you might have.
Every one of the members has an average of 1.8 million in Amazon sales with their own businesses. They’re wildly successful, and they’re specifically around to help you be successful too!
Live Coaching Calls
The live coaching calls are a helpful aspect of the course. As you go through each of the eight modules, there will be one scheduled call every week. This will go over what you’ve learned in the module and ask whether anyone has any questions. You’ll get a chance to ask questions of your own, or you can see what other people have to say.
After the first eight weeks of the program, you’ll get coaching calls once monthly. These will have to do with the ongoing running of your business, and you’ll be able to ask questions you have about maintaining or expanding your reach.
Everything You Get with the Purchase
The course alone is valuable enough to be worth the price tag several times over. But that’s not the end of the resources you’re given. Once you make your purchase, you’ll gain immediate access to the following:
- 19 hours of video structured in an 8-week training program to walk you through launching your business
- A streamlined dashboard that gives you access to course materials and important business automation tools
- Access to the mentorship program and real-time access to mentors who can answer your questions and provide guidance
- A lifetime membership to the forums and member areas online
- Weekly private coaching calls for your group, followed by monthly coaching calls as you maintain your business
- Information about how to make expert product listings that rank high on Amazon
- Information about the ASM business launch setup, a successful method that can’t be found anywhere else
- Targeted promotions that drive traffic to your new business, thanks to the ASM team
- A private vault of resources like extra reading materials, questions and answers, expert opinions, and thousands upon thousands of forum posts
Even without considering all of the extra tools and community support, the training itself gives you everything you need to create, launch, maintain, and grow your FBA business. You don’t have to have any experience whatsoever!
Keep in mind, though, that success is never guaranteed. And it certainly isn’t easy. Owning a business is hard, and you have to be committed to doing the hard work.
The course is designed to run for eight weeks. But you can go slower if you want. Take it at your own pace. If eight weeks feels like it’s too fast to launch your business, don’t stress yourself out. Go at the pace you want.
But keep in mind that eight weeks should be the minimum to complete this course. Don’t absorb all the information at once. Do one module, and then go through all of the action steps for your business before you move on to the next module.
Surely there can’t be more. And yet there is! Once you’ve finished the eight main modules, there’s a bonus section made up of fourteen lessons. It has supplementary lessons, interviews with other ASM members, and ways for you to expand your business and your thought process.
Let’s take a look at what you learn in each module of the course.
Module 0 is called the “zero” module because it doesn’t technically teach you any of the course. Instead, this is a welcome module that will explain what you’ll learn throughout the course. It gives you a comprehensive overview of each of the sections, and Rich explains the basics of setting up a seller account correctly.
In this module, you’ll get familiar with the course resources and how to use them. The specific lessons include:
- A birds-eye overview of what you’ll learn throughout the whole course
- How to navigate your dashboard, which is where you’ll interact with course content and find your seller tools
- How to achieve profitable results and consistent business growth
- How to structure your business around selling physical products
- How to proof your Amazon account against being suspended for arbitrary reasons
Even though this doesn’t yet get into the nitty-gritty of the lessons, it is very thorough and informative. Module 0 does move the slowest, though, since it’s not as packed with information.
Rich explains the reasons that Amazon is a good business to get into. He also gives an extremely complete explanation of every function on your dashboard, which serves as a tutorial. If you pay attention to this part of the course, it’s impossible to get confused about how to navigate and use your tools.
The introduction is a little bit long, and you might get tired. But the rest of the modules pick up the pace intensely. Even for the slow pace, this module does a great job of preparing you for every part of what you’re about to learn.
This is the module where you’ll start learning about selecting products and creating your business. If you have no prior business experience, the information here is invaluable. You’ll learn how to brand your business and make an impact in the market, as well as ways to improve product sales on Amazon.
The method outlined in this course is perfect for beginners. It explains everything you need to know about competition and how the Amazon marketplace functions. Then it teaches you how to apply your newfound knowledge so that you can create the building blocks of your future business.
The first part of the module teaches you about why branding matters more than the product you’re selling. This is because branding allows you to differentiate yourself from the competition, and it also lets you expand to other product markets in the future.
Once this is established, Rich outlines seven characteristics that make a product a good opportunity.
One of the characteristics is that the product is a top category on Amazon, rather than being one of the website’s sub-categories. Top categories are categories with a wide range of different products, while sub-categories divide those ranges into more measurable bites.
You also get an exclusive ASM list of products not to use. According to Rich, he and many of the members of the ASM community have learned not to sell these products. The reasoning for this varies depending on the product. But basically, you get to benefit from a more experienced person’s wisdom so you don’t make the same mistakes.
It’s a good idea to avoid these products not just because they’re hard to sell, but because many of them come with a lot of red tape.
Now, it’s important to keep in mind that this module should be used with the other course modules as well. Rich explains how to pick a product that has high demand and little competition. He also explains how to rank high in the Amazon listings.
But this module doesn’t get into how to shape your target audience. If you don’t have a target consumer in mind, it’s hard to tap into a specific marketplace. Beginners will appreciate the product selection guidelines here, but experts might want to use their own methods when creating their online business.
Module 2 gets into even more information density. It’s easiest to apply to your business if you chose a product using the characteristics outlined in Module 1. Now that you have your product, you’ll learn how to brand your business, find the right supplier, and create product listings that drive traffic.
There’s a lot of information covered. Just a few of the lesson topics include:
- How to figure out your profit margin based on the cost of production versus the amount people are willing to pay
- Eight bullet points that every Amazon listing should follow to rank high and pull in traffic
- Building your brand’s image and creating your professional assets
- Calculating the real cost of manufacturing your product
- How to get product samples from suppliers and compare different suppliers to select the one that works best for your business
Basically, Module 2 takes the product you selected in Module 1 and helps you build a business around it. Then it teaches you how to turn the product into a reality by contacting suppliers and calculating your costs.
The module will walk you through what branding is and what you need for a successful business brand. It’s an ideal place for beginners to start because it explains branding in simple terms and helps you start creating your brand. Normally you’d need to pay a company thousands upon thousands of dollars to develop your brand for you.
By the time you get to Module 3, you’ve selected a good product to sell and gotten samples from suppliers. You’ve calculated the costs of production and the profit you’re making with each sale.
Module 3 delves deeper into creating your brand. It also teaches you about how to order your inventory so that you have your products in the Amazon warehouse when they sell.
The big advantage of an FBA business is that Amazon takes care of all of the shipping. They pick, package, and ship your orders when they come in, so you don’t have to worry about it. All you have to worry about is making sure that you have the right amount of warehouse space taken up by a quality product.
There are two big topics covered throughout this module:
- Narrowing down suppliers by choosing the best samples
- Creating your first product listings
Module 2 taught you how to contact suppliers, but Module 3 teaches you how to pick the right sample based on quality and cost.
Throughout the module, you’re given information on how to compare different product samples. The things to look for are the same regardless of your product market. Basically, you have to check for several different points of quality to make sure that the product is worth selling to your ideal consumers.
In addition, Rich talks about things that you can ignore when selecting a sample. For example, if another business has its logo on the sample, that doesn’t matter. Samples are often watermarked. You can expect that future orders from that supplier will have your own business logo on the product.
Rich also walks you through setting up your first Amazon listing. He explains what you need to do to get a quick approval, plus what you should do to avoid hassle. Maybe even more importantly, Rich talks about what not to do if you want to avoid a headache when dealing with Amazon.
The lesson is extremely clear and careful about setting up the listing. It functions as a tutorial to guide you through creating your store and making listings that will get Amazon approval. Whether you’re an experienced seller or completely new to Amazon, the lesson contains valuable information that will further your business.
Though these are the two main topics in the module, they aren’t the only ones. Some of the other topics you’ll learn about include:
- How to be diplomatic when selecting your supplier, so you don’t ruin your relationships with the others
- How to acquire a UPC (Universal Product Code) for your product so that it can be scanned by point-of-sale systems
- How to design your packaging in a cost-efficient way that protects the product and preserves your business brand
- How to construct an email list of consumers who may be interested in your product
One thing to note that the course doesn’t get deeply into, though, is that samples aren’t the be-all end-all of your product information. Some business owners find that suppliers send them high-quality samples but create cheap products when they get mass production orders.
You can mitigate this by putting in an order, having your product stored in the warehouse, and buying several items for your friends and family. Once they get the products, they can give you a review of how well they work. This will let you know whether the supplier actually adheres to the quality they showed with the sample.
Now that you have your product ordered, listed, and stored safely in the warehouse, it’s time to focus on launching your brand. This particular module is devoted to social media. Rich explains what social media you need to launch your brand, and then the videos walk you through every aspect of setting up social media accounts.
Some of the information might be things you already know. For older people, the information about how to use social media is invaluable. It’s an easily-digestible format that tells you exactly what each website is used for and how to use it.
For younger people, you’re probably familiar with a lot of these websites already. Though you might find some new information about how to create specific brand pages, you can expect this module to retread familiar waters.
If you’re already familiar with how to set up social media accounts and add content, you can skip some of the lessons. But the LCP videos are vital. LCP stands for “lead capture page.” Rich explains how to optimize your pages to generate leads and maximize conversions, something that’s difficult to know if you don’t have a marketing degree.
Social media is necessary for having a business in today’s modern world. Consumers want to interact with companies. Social media is where you’ll drum up “buzz” about your product line, generate interest, and even launch important ad campaigns for your brand.
These are some of the specific topics that are covered:
- How to construct the aforementioned lead capture pages
- How to set up a branded website with Wix
- How to create a Facebook page for your brand
- How to create a Youtube channel for your brand and build up content
- How to create a Pinterest board for your brand, and why
- How to create a Twitter profile for your brand, plus how to follow the right people and target the right audience
The information here is all extremely basic. Like everything so far, it’s targeted toward people who are just starting out. You don’t have to have any prior social media experience or marketing background to follow along. The module helps you to build the most basic framework for the online presence of your business.
Unfortunately, since the module only covers the basics, you might not learn a whole lot if you already have a social media and content creation background.
This module teaches you how to create product listings that will bring in high amounts of traffic.
But wait, you say, didn’t we already do that?
No! In the previous modules, you were just getting your listings approved by Amazon. Those lessons teach you how to input the most basic information possible so that you can get your account approved and make room in the warehouse for your inventory.
This module is where you’ll actually optimize your listing to drive sales, rather than just giving Amazon the information they need to approve your account.
Each product listing is supposed to meet eight key points. According to Rich, a listing that hits these bullet points is pristine. Rich explains how to create your product listing in a way that coincides with the key points.
These are four of the eight components:
- Doing research on your initial keywords
- Creating a product listing that’s compelling
- Calculating the most profitable pricing for your product
- Constructing a title that draws traffic away from the competition
This module will also help you make use of some of the tools that are included in your dashboard. There are keyword tracking and finding tools that take all the hassle out of discovering the best keywords. When you watch Rich, you might be shocked by how easy it is for the keyword research to be done.
The research tool you’ll use lets you sort keywords. It also lets you view the keywords that are being searched without having many products competing. That same tool can be used to create a title that improves your Amazon ranking and encourages people to click on your listing and view it.
Rich talks about how to make sure that your listing is readable, so the consumer has an easier time interacting with it. He also talks about the importance of using the right keywords to rank in the Amazon search engine, so that people see your product first when they search the keywords you’re using.
Module 6 talks about how to launch your product in a way that draws the interest of your consumer market and generates buzz. You already have your social media accounts and perfect Amazon listing. You’ve populated your social media accounts with some vital information regarding your brand and your product. You have your branded website.
ASM uses a proven, proprietary process that improves a product’s launch. You won’t find this information anywhere else. The proven process alone is important enough that it’s well worth the cost of the course. By using this method, you’ll immediately begin generating sales and only grow your business from there.
The three-phase process is called LB&R.
This stands for:
Mike is at the helm of this module. He explains how each component of this process works. This includes information about what traffic is most relished by Amazon’s search engine, plus a guide on setting up multiple different landing pages. Your Amazon ranking will be bumped significantly by having unique landing pages.
One of the most helpful components of the module is the pre-launch checklist. Mike gives you a checklist to go through before you launch your product so that you can make sure you have everything in place.
This is vital because product launches can be fast-paced. If your item really takes off, you’ll find yourself busy with managing your online presence, updating your listings, contacting your suppliers, and working with Amazon. It’s a very exciting feeling! But it can quickly become overwhelming if you’re not prepared.
By checking off everything on the list, you can be certain that you’re ready for the rush. Many business owners feel as though they’re drowning. But the checklist ensures that you have all the structure in place to operate your business as a smooth one-person show – without taking into account the Amazon employees shipping your products, of course.
Knowing you have everything ready can help boost your confidence. It also helps you avoid hanging back on the product launch out of fear that you won’t be able to handle it.
This is another module that’s taught chiefly by Mike. It shows you how to use the traffic and marketing tools that were included with the course. Not only will you learn what every aspect of the tools means, you’ll also learn how to optimize them so that you get the best traffic rates.
Mike discusses the day-to-day maintenance that you need to do if you want to run a successful FBA business. That includes emailing subscribers, engaging in content marketing, and checking your listings. Even though you don’t have to package and ship the items yourself, owning the business quickly becomes a full-time job.
Just a few of the topics covered include:
- Making a list of daily tasks that you must do for your business
- Fine-tuning Amazon ads so that they generate more leads and higher conversion rates
- How to use Amazon Lightning Deals to reach your consumer base and maximize your profits
The lessons in this module are hugely important for your efficiency. By adhering to the daily agenda that Mike sets up, you get a firm sense of your schedule each day. You can go through your daily list of tasks and keep your business running like a well-oiled machine.
This is especially important for people who are running their businesses solo. Some individuals may be able to train an assistant to take care of their business. But it’s more cost-effective to do the maintenance yourself, and it’s not as intimidating as it may seem initially.
By doing your marketing and traffic research on your own, you retain full autonomy regarding your business. You know exactly what choices you’re making and why. You never have to question whether you’re going in the right direction or why you’re running a certain ad campaign.
This autonomy also lets you have more control over the direction that your business grows. Since you’re in charge of your marketing, you’re also in charge of who your target audience is and how you want to expand.
Mike teaches you to set up Amazon ads that will drive traffic to your business. An ideal ad is one that catches the interest of a consumer who wants your product. The person who goes to your listings page should be interested in buying your merchandise.
